The Marvel Report attended the Agents of SHIELD panel yesterday at Wondercon. The panel featured most of the cast of the show, as well as Executive Producers Jeff Bell and Jeph Loeb. Fans in attendance were treated to an advanced screening of the next episode “Watchdogs” which is set to air on Tuesday March 29th.
But at the beginning of the panel, after the cast was introduced, Jeph Loeb introduced a special video presentation. “A Spy’s Goodbye” is a video that pays tribute to characters Bobbi Morse (played by Adrienne Palicki) and Lance Hunter (Nick Blood). Fans that have seen last week’s episode “Parting Shot” know that at the end of the episode, Bobbi and Hunter were forced to leave SHIELD in order to protect the team.
The actors on the panel had not seen the video, and several of them left their seats so that they could have a better view of the screen.
Warning: If you cried at the end of “Parting Shot”, you might want to grab a few tissues before hitting play on this video.
Bobbi Morse and Lance Hunter aren’t gone forever, of course. They will return in Marvel’s Most Wanted. Hopefully more information will come out soon about that new show, as well as Marvel’s Damage Control.
