We are getting closer and closer to the release of the highly anticipated third Netflix/Marvel series, Luke Cage, as Marvel’s Power Man is the next superhero to have his story told in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It was revealed yesterday that we would be getting a new trailer today so with that said, here is the latest trailer for Netflix and Marvel’s Luke Cage!
Luke Cage stars Colter as the title hero, Alfre Woodard as Mariah Dillard, Mahershala Ali as Cornell “Cottonmouth” Stokes, Simone Missick as Misty Knight, Theo Rossi as Shades, Frank Whaley as Rafael Scarfe and Rosario Dawson reprising the role of Claire Temple from Daredeviland Jessica Jones. In addition, Sonia Braga has been cast as Soledad Temple, mother of Claire.
“After a sabotaged experiment leaves him with super strength and unbreakable skin, Luke Cage (Mike Colter) becomes a fugitive trying to rebuild his life in modern day Harlem, New York City. But he is soon pulled out of the shadows and must fight a battle for the heart of his city – forcing him to confront a past he had tried to bury.
Cheo Hodari Coker (“SouthLAnd,” “Ray Donovan”) will write the series’ first two episodes in addition to serving as showrunner and Executive Producer along with Loeb.
