After an incredibly long wait, Disney just announced that Daredevil season one is finally heading to Blu-ray.
On November 8, fans who didn’t get a chance to witness Matt Murdock aka Daredevil go toe-to-toe with the villainous Wilson Fisk (Kingpin) are in for a treat. The appropriately title Daredevil: The Complete First Season is expected to contain, well, season one of Daredevil.
At the moment, Disney has yet to reveal which, (if any at all), special features will be included in the 13 episode long season set. This will likely change month when it’s closer to the release.
Daredevil season one marks the very first time a Marvel & Netflix show will be available on disc. It wasn’t that long ago that we were treated to the release of Daredevil season two on Netflix. Now, with the news of season one hitting Blu-ray next month, one can only wonder when season two will arrive on store shelves as well. Additionally, it’s likely other Marvel/Netflix shows could make the jump from digital to Blu-ray in the near future. Shows like Jessica Jones and the recent hit series Luke Cage (hopefully with neat special features) may be already in the pipeline.
