Hey Spidey fans! The time has finally come for a new animated series of our favorite web-slinger is finally hitting television! According to ComicBook.com, the new animated series Spider-Man is set to air on Disney XD in Summer of 2017, after Ultimate Spider-Man wraps up its fourth and final season this weekend and a brand new teaser is now available for the upcoming series! This follows the confirmation that Peter Parker will not be alone in this adventure as both Spider-Gwen and Miles Morales will be joining him! You can check out that here! On top of this, our favorite web-slinger will be having a busy year in 2017 as its first movie featuring the collaboration between Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures Spider-Man: Homecoming will hit theaters in July!
A young Peter Parker/Spider-Man (Tom Holland), who made his sensational debut in Captain America: Civil War, begins to navigate his newfound identity as the web-slinging super hero in Spider-Man: Homecoming. Thrilled by his experience with the Avengers, Peter returns home, where he lives with his Aunt May (Marisa Tomei), under the watchful eye of his new mentor Tony Stark (Robert Downey, Jr.). Peter tries to fall back into his normal daily routine – distracted by thoughts of proving himself to be more than just your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man – but when the Vulture (Michael Keaton) emerges as a new villain, everything that Peter holds most important will be threatened.
