Marvel Releases New Avengers: Infinity War Footage at D23 Expo

As a part of their highly anticipated appearance at the D23 Expo hosted by Disney, Marvel Studios showed previously unreleased footage from the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War. Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige took to the stage to announce that Infinity War will celebrate the culmination of Marvel Studios 10th anniversary, which takes place next year. Feige was then joined onstage by: Paul Bettany, Chadwick Boseman, Don Cheadle, Pom Klementieff, Karen Gillan, Dave Bautista, Elizabeth Olsen, Chris Hemsworth, Sebastian Stan, Benedict Cumberbatch, Tom Holland, and Robert Downey Jr. The film’s main villain, Thanos/Josh Brolin also joined the cast.

Once the stage was full of Marvel’s finest, Feige began to roll footage from Avengers: Infinity War. While the footage was not released online, we did gather tweets of members of the press who were able to watch it. There was no shortage of character appearances in the footage, starting with Thor meeting the Guardians of the Galaxy:

Fans will also be excited to learn that the Iron-Spider suit appears in the movie:

Thor isn’t the only one who meets Star Lord:

And it’s nice to see former enemies team up:

Of course, you can’t have a movie without the big villain. Fans got to see a lot of Thanos (being evil of course):

Those are just a few of the highlights. Stay tuned to The Marvel Report for more coverage on Avengers: Infinity War and Marvel’s Hall H panel at San Diego Comic Con.

Avengers: Infinity War is directed by Joe and Anthony Russo and opens in theaters May 4, 2018.
