Ant-Man and The Wasp is getting underway! From Killjoys star Hannah John-Kamen to Randall Park as SHIELD Agent Jimmy Woo this cast looks amazing! Now according to Deadline former Justified star Walton Goggins is being added to the team in an undisclosed role. Casting has ramped up for the sequel to Peyton Reed’s Ant-Man with these new characters being surprises – apart from Park’s Agent Woo. Goggins is joined by returning cast members Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Michael Pena, and Michael Douglas as Scott Lang, Hope Van Dyne, Luis, and Hank Pym respectively. The cast is shaping up to be very exciting!
This continues a major film streak for Goggins. The actor will be hitting the big screen in a big way in 2018 with Tomb Raider as well as The Maze Runner: The Death Cure. He also starred with fellow Marvel Universe Alum Juan Pablo Raba in the History Channel’s Six, a story about a Navy Seal team.
While we have no info about Goggins character in Ant-Man yet, chances are we’ll see something in regards to Ant-Man and the Wasp at the Hall H panel during Comic Con. Ant-Man And the Wasp joins Thor: Ragnarok, Black Panther, and possibly Infinity War as properties that Marvel is bringing to San Diego. Here’s hoping we get to see something good!
The film is slated for a July 6th 2018 release date. Ant-Man previously grossed $519 million worldwide, will the sequel live up to the hype? With great actors like John-Kamen, Park and now Goggins, it seems like a certainty.
