Sony has set a release date for their upcoming Silver And Black. The film, which will focus on the characters Silver Sablinova aka Silver Sable & and Felicia Hardy aka Black Cat, and is described as an “old school action film in the vein of the Dirty Dozen” will now be hitting theaters on Febuary 8, 2019.

The film will be directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood who will also be re-writing the script from Chris Yost (Thor: Ragnarok). A prior draft had been written by Westworld co-creator Lisa Joy. With a director attached and release date now set, it’s only a matter of time before we get some casting news for the project.
Things are still unclear as far as what Sony has planned for these films which will be focusing on Spider-Man characters without the wallcrawler but we will get out first taste of it when the Tom Hardy starring Venom hits theaters on October 5, 2018.
