When we last heard about Brock Rumlow aka Crossbones from Frank Grillo, it seemed that he was done with the character following Captain America: Civil War. While the character was blown to bits at the start of the film, we’re talking about the Marvel Cinematic Universe here. It wouldn’t be the first time someone was brought back from death and it sounds like it might be happening again according to a recent interview. Speaking with Forbes, Grillo seemingly revealed that there are future plans for Crossbones’ return.
“It’s great to be part of Marvel too and I have three boys who are fanatical about Marvel, and I was surprised not too long ago because there is some news that nobody knows yet, to do with my character, that’s going to be really interesting and I’m excited about that.”
So, where could we see Rumlow appearing in the future? An Agents Of SHIELD flashback? Or maybe we’ll see him in the upcoming Captain Marvel film which is set in the 90’s? Or are they just going to go all out and bring him back from death? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
