Woody Harrelson In Negotiations To Join Sony’s Venom

The cast for Sony’s upcoming Spider-Man spin-off film Venom continues to grow! Variety reports that Woody Harrelson is currently in talks to join Ruben Fleischer’s picture starring Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock.

According to the trade, should Harrelson join the project, he is said to play “a henchman of sorts.” In other news, we recently got the first look at the film’s official logo which you can see here.

Production just recently kicked off for the film as the Eddie Brock centric film will be the first of a new cinematic universe that Sony is working on, supposedly R-rated. Gina Prince-Bythewood’s Silver & Black, featuring Silver Sable and Black Cat, will be the second installment of that universe.
