Avengers: Endgame To Be Re-Released With New Footage

The summer’s biggest blockbuster is preparing to re-assemble with new footage. Avengers: Endgame marked the culmination of Marvel’s 22 film experiment, proving that their formula worked. Debuting at 1.2 billion dollars opening weekend, the superhero juggernaut is preparing for a re-release.

According to Screenrant, Marvel head Kevin Feige has confirmed that Endgame will return to theaters June 28th. The studio head shared this news during the Spider-Man: Far From Home press conference, exciting press and fans alike. While this isn’t an extended cut, the film will offer a few sneak peaks and surprises for dedicated fans, especially those who stick around after the credits.

Not an extended cut, but there will be a version going into theaters with a bit of a marketing push with a few new things at the end of the movie. If you stay and watch the movie, after the credits, there’ll be a deleted scene, a little tribute, and a few surprises. Which will be next weekend.

The Avengers: Endgame re-release will come out before Spider-Man: Far From Home. While a Spider-Man movie is a shoe-in to do well, this promises to be a box office push that should push the Holland picture even further forward.

Marvel is coming for James Cameron’s brand.

As for Endgame, the film is less than 50 million away from beating James Cameron’s Avatar at the worldwide box office. Avatar, originally released in 2009, debuted new special effects and cutting edge technology. Avengers: Endgame also debuted new special effects, cutting edge technology, and most importantly a cutting edge storytelling technique. Will the film be able to claw it’s way to the number one spot? What could these extra surprises entail? Let the speculation begin and tell us your thoughts in the comments below!
