It’s official true believers: Cloak & Dagger and Runaways are crossing over as the casts of both shows announced the news today. For almost two years now since both shows came to life, fans have been wanting to see a crossover between Runaways and Cloak & Dagger as the two dramas focuses on young super-powered characters.
It remains to be seen whether or not it will be for more than one episode in the third season that will once again consist of 10 episodes. More news about the upcoming season and, hopefully, the crossover will be coming in the near future.
Whether or not this means that Cloak & Dagger will be back for a third season remains to be seen. But with crossover news like this, the chances must be good for the Freeform drama. Marvel TV President Jeph Loeb shared his excitement in an official statement:
“It’s so fun being able to do something that revels in the Mighty Marvel Manner! Having these young heroes crossover allows fans of both shows to see the adventure everyone has been waiting for and we’ve only hinted at,”
Marvel’s Runaways, starring Rhenzy Feliz, Lyrica Okano, Virginia Gardner, Ariela Barer, Gregg Sulkin, Allegra Acosta, Annie Wersching, Ryan Sands, Angel Parker, Ever Carradine, James Marsters, Kevin Weisman, Brigid Brannagh, James Yaegashi, Brittany Ishibashi, and Elizabeth Hurley, is set to drop on December 13, exclusively on Hulu.
