Writer Jeff Loveness will pen the script for Ant-Man 3, according to an exclusive from The Hollywood Reporter.
Loveness currently writes for the popular show Rick and Morty. His other credits include Jimmy Kimmel Live and Miracle Workers.
In addition to TV, he has also written several comics including a Groot comic for Marvel.
While no release date has been announced for the film, we already know Peyton Reed will return to direct.
Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly are also expected to reprise their roles in the film.
Given Marvel recently pushed back their entire film slate due to theatre closures from the Coronavirus pandemic, we’re unlikely to see Ant-Man 3 in theatres for some time.
Marvel Studios has three films scheduled for 2021 (Eternals, Shang Chi, Doctor Strange 2) and three scheduled for 2022 (Thor 4, Black Panther 2, Captain Marvel 2), meaning it’s likely Ant-Man 3 may come out as late as 2023.
