Director Kat Coiro is in negotiations to direct the She-Hulk pilot for Disney Plus as well as additional episodes according to a report from Deadline. Coiro would also serve as an executive producer on the show.
Coiro has previously directed episodes for television series including Dead to Me, Single Parents and Modern Family. Her feature film Marry Me starring Jennifer Lopez and Owen Wilson is set to be released in 2021.
The show has not yet cast its lead, but wrapped its writers room earlier this year led by Rick and Morty writer Jessica Gao.
Disney Plus Marvel shows The Falcon and Winter Soldier, WandaVision and Loki are currently in production. The Falcon and Winter Solider was originally slated to premiere this year, but its new premiere date remains unclear given production delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
