WonderCon@Home 2021 Set: Will Marvel Studios Be Present?

It’s 2021 and the world is still not fully back to normal, unfortunately. While COVID-vaccinations are happening, several industries are still being careful of the global pandemic and that includes the annual comic book conventions. In this case, Comic-Con International has already announced that WonderCon and San Diego Comic-Con will be happening @Home again like last year. SDCC may have a smaller local event in November, but that has yet to be determined.

What’s coming up though is WonderCon@Home 2021 which will be a 2-day virtual event that will be hosted between Friday, March 26 and Saturday, March 27. The official Comic-Con International organization has already announced that they’ll have special programming and more. Several studios like Netflix, Warner Bros. TV, DC, Hulu, and more are going to be part of it. However, Marvel Studios nor Marvel Entertainment were on the list, so what does that mean?

While they’ll likely have some panels revolving comics, it’s tricky to know if they’ll do anything in terms of Marvel Studios movies as well as original TV shows that are airing, going to air, or coming up on Disney+. The Falcon and The Winter Soldier will have just arrived by the time WonderCon@Home is happening, so maybe something highlighting what’s coming up this season could happen. Stay tuned on The Marvel Report as programming will come out soon with specific panels and when they’re happening, hopefully involving Marvel Studios.
