Fans demanded to see the “Zemo Cut,” and Marvel listened.
Episode 3 of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier featured everyone’s favorite Sokovian villain tearing it up on the dance floor. The scene became an instant meme sensation, even inspiring dedicated Twitter accounts that edited different songs over the clip.
After actor Daniel Brühl revealed in an interview to Entertainment Weekly that an extended take of the character dancing existed, fans began to petition Marvel for the “Zemo Cut.”
I was 100 percent sure that they would cut it out [of the show]. I was really surprised and happy that they kept it. It was a long dance. There’s more to it, but they cut this little moment.
