Are you ready for What If…? Disney+ has revealed Marvel Studios’ first-ever animated series will premiere on Wednesday, August 11.
Inspired by the classic Marvel comics series What If…?, the show reimagines famous events from films in the MCU.
Peggy Carter, T’Challa, Doctor Strange, Killmonger and Thor are just a few of the characters who will show up in the season.

In the trailer, we see Tony Stark rescued by Kilmonger, T’Challa as Star-Lord, and Peggy Carter as Captain Carter among several other glimpses at alternative MCU storylines.
At the end of the trailer, The Watcher (voiced by Jeffrey Wright) ominously explains, “I am the Watcher. I observe all that transpires here. But I do not, cannot, will not interfere.”
