The Arrowverse Will Reintroduce The Multiverse In The Flash Season 9 Episode 9

As everyone has been getting ready for Oliver Queen’s Arrowverse return, The Flash season 9 is revisiting one of the franchise’s most popular concepts: the multiverse. In a first-look trailer, as shared by TV Line, episode 9 of The Flash’s final season re-introduces the multiverse. This is the first time that The Flash specifically has tackled this issue after the events of Crisis on Infinite Earths.

Whether or not this means that the episode will see our heroes visit other Earths remain to be seen. But this has been a big plot point that The Flash has left on the side, which is ironic. It was The Flash season 2 that even introduced the multiverse into the Arrowverse, to begin with.

“It’s My Party and I’ll Die If I Want To,” will also feature the return of Keiynan Lonsdale as Wally West, a.k.a. Kid Flash, who has been missing since season 6. Sendhil Ramamurthy is also reprising the role of Bloodwork after the setup in the Earth-Prime comic. Last, but certainly not the least, David Ramsey is back as the Arrow fan-favorite, John Diggle.

Catch the beginning of the end of The Flash season 9 starting on Wednesday, April 26, at 8/7c on The CW.
