This is just in from ABC: Agent Carter will be kicking off its second season (with 10 episodes this season) on Tuesday January 5 with a two-hour premiere at 9/8c on ABC while Agents of SHIELD is on its winter hiatus which will start in early December after episode 10.

Dedicated to the fight against new atomic age threats in the wake of World War II, Peggy must now journey from New York City to Los Angeles for her most dangerous assignment yet. But even as she discovers new friends, a new home–and perhaps even a new love–she’s about to find out that the bright lights of the post-war Hollywood mask a more sinister threat to everyone she is sworn to protect.

But there is a bonus because ABC also announced when Agents of SHIELD will return from its winter hiatus: catch Coulson and his agency on their new adventures on Tuesday March 8 at its regular timeslot at 9/8c on ABC.
