By the hoary hosts of Hoggoth, we finally have a look at the concept art for Scott Derrickson’s MCU film Doctor Strange!
While some have seen this art featuring Benedict Cumberbatch as the Sorcerer Supreme at conventions like D23 and others, this official look comes via the Phase 2 Collection Box Set.
Just seeing the art makes makes me even more excited about what we could see in this film. Boasting an award-caliber cast (Cumberbatch, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Tilda Swinton, Rachel McAdams, Mads Mikkelsen, etc.) Doctor Strange has the potential to be something special and a landmark entry into the MCU.
Kevin Feige has mentioned Doctor Strange is his passion project so you best believe Marvel and company will take the steps needed to make sure it comes out right. Derrickson describes it as ” a mind trip action film” in the featurette below.
“Doctor Strange” follows the story of neurosurgeon Doctor Stephen Strange who, after a horrific car accident, discovers the hidden world of magic and alternate dimensions.
