With season 3B of Agents of SHIELD approaching, ABC has at last provided fans with more information about it’s potential spinoff Marvel’s Most Wanted. It’s logline teases an impressive and worrisome spoiler for Agents of SHIELD fans as seen below.
LOGLINE: Centers on Bobbi Morse (a.k.a. Mockingbird) and Lance Hunter of “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., two ex-spies and ex-spouses who are on the run with no friends, no S.H.I.E.L.D. and a long list of enemies looking to claim a bounty on their heads. Able to trust no one but each other, Bobbi and Hunter form an uneasy alliance with Dominic Fortune, a rogue adventurer with a wealth of resources and even more adversaries, who agrees to protect them so long as they help him with his own agenda. These two heroes will help anyone in need, all while trying to uncover the conspiracy that put their own lives in jeopardy.
It sounds like a fun and unique look at the Marvel Universe, giving both Bobbi and Lance more of an anti-hero bent. While fans might be worried about the lack of Bobbi and Nick on Agents of SHIELD, according to Hypable, Agents of SHIELD’s showrunners have given their blessing to Marvel’s Most Wanted.
“They’ll have to step away for a moment.” Jed Whedon is quoted as saying, “We’re very proud of that moment.”
The logline promises them teaming up with Dominic Fortune, a rogue hunter who might be helping the former? Shield agents adjust to life on the lamb while they try and do their best by the multitude of individuals existing in the MCU. Is Fortune friend or foe? What conspiracy brought two of SHIELD’s best and brightest, trusted by Phil Coulson out into the open?
Either way, it looks as if this shake up for Agents of SHIELD as well as the world impacting potential of Captain America: Civil War will mean big changes for the MCU. It also shows that Marvel recognizes who it’s most wanted characters might be. Do you agree? Sound off in the comments below True Believers!
