As we approach the release of 20th Century Fox’s highly anticipated Deadpool movie starring Ryan Reynolds as the Merk With the Mouth, a spot was released during the Super Bowl. You can catch it below.
Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero, DEADPOOL tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.
Deadpool stars Ryan Reynolds as Wade Wilson/Deadpool, Morena Baccarin as Vanessa Carlysle, Ed Skrein Francis/Ajax, T.J. Miller as Weasel, Gina Carano as Angel Dust and Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead.
Deadpool was directed by Tim Miller and written by Paul Wernick & Rhett Reese. Simon Kinberg, Lauren Shuler Donner and Ryan Reynolds serve as producers on Deadpool.
