Over three seasons, Melinda May a.k.a. the Calvary, played by Ming-Na Wen, has become a standout character on Marvel’s Agents Of SHIELD. Recently at WonderCon, The Marvel Report was in the press room to chat with the cast and crew of the show about what is coming up in the rest of Season 3. First up, we talked to Ming-Na Wen about a variety of topics for the present and future of the show.
On showing May’s emotional side in Season 3:
“When so you say softer emotions from Agent May, she may smile a little. But we’ve definitely seen her shed a tear or two and she is definitely feeling the pressure of the changes that has happened with the family and the bad people that are coming in between HIVE, the Inhumans and I think for May, [she’s] trying to maintain her focus and help Coulson maintain his focus as well.”
