Looks like Spider-Man might have a Birdman to contend with and we’re not talking about the Vulture. Not yet, anyway!
Variety is reporting that Sony and Marvel are courting Micheal Keaton for a villainous role in Sony’s highly anticipated Spider-Man: Homecoming. Micheal Keaton is best known in the comic book world as Batman in Tim Burton’s 1988 “Batman” and most recently in the Oscar winning movies “Birdman” and “Spotlight.”
While neither Marvel or Sony have confirmed this rumor yet, we’d love to see Keaton in a Marvel movie.
