The hugely anticipated Captain America: Civil War premiere is happening today in London, England. In town for the premiere but never too busy to donate some time to charity, Actor Robert Downey Jr visited with children at Great Ormond Street Hospital yesterday.
The hospital posted a thank you message on their Twitter page today with photos of the visit and the story was shared by People Magazine.
Certainly Kid Iron Man (Ethan Miller from Southend, Essex) had to have been very excited to meet the real Tony Stark. Ethan posed for photos with Downey Jr along with his parents Kristie and Lee.
One small child was even sporting Team Batman attire, but Downey Jr was still thrilled to meet with this young patient.
While playing a super hero in the movies is certainly a highlight in Robert Downey Jr’s career, we love seeing him be a super hero in real life even more.
Captain America: Civil War opens May 6th and stars Robert Downey Jr, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Jeremy Renner, Chadwick Boseman, Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Rudd, Emily Van Camp, Tom Holland and Frank Grillo.
