True believers, we’re officially less than one month out from San Diego Comic-Con! Anyone that has been there knows the whole city of San Diego shuts down during the five day event. Get ready; Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD will have a big presence there!
Which is why prep for the Con is happening a month out. The social media team for Agents of SHIELD posted the below image of a tram wrapped in SHIELD branding earlier, sending fanboys and fangirls into a small tizzy.
Those hot, fiery chains? We know what you’re thinking – is Ghost Rider coming to AOS? While that would be A-Frigging-Mazing, that probably is not going to happen, even though Marvel has gotten the rights to the character back. He would most likely be served better by his own television series (pay attention Netflix!).
What it does signify however, Hellfire (introduced in Season 3 of AOS and played by Axle Whitehead) will have a bigger role in Season 4 come this Fall. Introduced as an inhuman during the Season, “James” as he was referred to, provided a small sense of intrigue and comic relief but ultimately became a henchman to Hive (Brett Dalton) by the end of season.
Along with Daisy going at it on her own, a new SHIELD Director in charge and the possibility of LMDs finally being introduced into the MCU, expect a lot to happen in Season 4.
The Marvel Report will be covering SDCC 2016 in full force and expect a whole lot of news to drop during the annual event.
Keep it locked to the TMR website and our social platforms for more Agents of Shield news!
