Episode 14 of DC Movies Podcast is a little different. Sure, your co-hosts Chris Doucher and Ashley Robinson talked all-things new in the DC Cinematic Universe, including new The Flash director with ‘Dope’ director Rick Famuyiwa, Suicide Squad having a presence at San Diego Comic-Con, potential Lobo movie, Injustice 2 talk and fun speculation about a wicked fight they’d love to see: Black Adam versus Aquaman. Yes, please! But the main theme of this episode was the fact that it was recorded LIVE, during the second annual DC TV Podcasts charity podcast marathon.
We were just one of many podcast shows helping to raise money for the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation. An amazing charity that is doing its part to help in the research and treatment of spinal cord injuries. And one day, cure these ailments completely. The goal was to raise $1,000 USD for the foundation, but we are happy to tell you that we shattered that goal and ended up raising $1, 572 USD! A big thanks go out to all of our awesome listeners who made donations last Saturday, June 11. You’re all SUPER! And while this episode is no longer “live,” you can still make a donation by visiting christopherreeve.org and also, follow them on Twitter @ReeveFoundation.
