This morning Entertainment Weekly revealed a new SDCC exclusive Doctor Strange poster. Created by artist Ryan Meindering, the poster showcases actor Benedict Cumberbatch in an action pose, casting a spell.
No details were given on the specs of the concept art poster, but Marvel gives out similar posters every year at SDCC and typically they are 13″ x 20″ in size.
The posters will be handed out at the SDCC Marvel Entertainment booth (#2329) throughout the weekend, and also to fans who are lucky enough to attend the Marvel Studios panel Saturday from 5:30 – 6:45 in Hall H.
James Gunn earlier revealed a new concept art poster for Guardians of the Galxy: Vol 2. That poster will also be given to fans at the booth and at the panel.
While Marvel has not announced exactly what they’ll be showing fans in the Hall H panel, James Gunn has said that Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol 2 will be there, and it’s almost certain that Doctor Strange will as well. Fans familiar with Marvel’s shooting schedule are also hopeful to see something from Thor: Ragnarok (Tom Hiddleston is in town promoting Skull Island) as well as Spiderman: Homecoming.
Marvel has not yet announced any Marvel Studios booth signings, but typically if a Marvel movie and cast are showcased in their Hall H panel, they also appear earlier in the day at the Marvel Entertainment booth.
