There is more Marvel news for Community fans this week. The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that Dan Harmon, co-creator of Community, wrote additional scenes for Doctor Strange.
The scenes were added after the film wrapped principal production, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
There has been a steady stream of cameos from Community actors in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, this is Harmon’s first involvement with the MCU.
But this isn’t the first time Marvel looked to sitcoms. Anthony and Joe Russo directed shows like Arrested Development long before blockbusters like Captain America: Civil War.
In an interview with Empire, Doctor Strange star Benedict Cumberbatch hinted that fans should expect a more “humorous” Doctor Strange.
With Dan Harmon on board, that shouldn’t be a problem.
Doctor Strange arrives in theaters on November 4th.
