“As always, we are going to put our own spin on the character.”executive producer Jed Whedon said, “Staying true to the comics in the places where we think it’s really important. We love the character’s family dynamic and the East LA kid in him.”
The Introduction of Ghost Rider opens the Marvel Universe to the strange and the unexplained also known as the magical side of the Cinematic Universe, “It started out with a guy building a suit using science.” Whedon said, “and then we met aliens that are the origin of some of the myths behind our gods. And this year Doctor Strange comes out. As thor would say, magic is science that we don’t understand. Well we’re getting into some very, very fancy science.”
According to Maurissa Tanchareon, “Our team will definately be trying to science the guy with the flaming skull.”
The fandom owes a debt of gratitude to costumer Ann Foley and her team, when you compare the comics to the actual art created not only has she crafted an homage that could very well belong to the character, but still has her own spin on it. It’s like Robbie walked off the page. Check out the comics image to compare below.
From Gabriel Luna’s continued dedication to the character, to the excitement of the fans, Robbie and the presence of magic in the MCU is clearly going to be a game changer.
Clearly an iconic costume and something that comics fans are going to be talking about for days to come. What do you think True Believers? Excited about this promo picture?
