Black Panther Casts Winston Duke as the Villainous M’Baku

Black Panther casts Person of Interest star Winston Duke as the villain M’Baku.

M’Baku aka the Man-Ape has a long history with T’Challa. Him and Black Panther have squared off numerous times in comic book history since his introduction way back in 1969. Man-Ape will be the films second villain with Erik Killmonger (played by Michael B. Jordan) being the first.

Duke’s other actor credits include the short-lived CW series The Messengers and Major Crimes. While this will be Duke’s first movie role, Man-Ape is no stranger to television. M’Baku’s other apperances include Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, Lego Marvel’s Avengers, and Marvel: Ultimate Alliance. He will join Chadwick Boseman, Lupita Nyong’o, Michael B. Jordan, and Danai Gurira.
