The Defenders Twitter account announced today that actress Jessica Henwick will be playing Colleen Wing in The Defenders. Henwick will make her debut as Colleen Wing in Iron Fist. Colleen Wing is a martial artist and ally of Iron Fist that helps him when he is just starting out as a hero.
Iron Fist will tell the story of Danny Rand, a man who gains great martial arts knowledge and the mystical powers of the iron fist. He uses his abilities to fight crime in New York City.
Marvel’s The Defenders brings Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, Daredevil and Iron Fist together, along with their allies to help New York as a team.
Iron Fist will be released first on Netflix March 17, 2017. Marvel’s The Defenders is set to come out later in 2017.
