Hey Marvel and Capcom fans! The moment we have all been waiting for is finally here as Marvel News has stated that Capcom has announced the return of the Marvel vs. Capcom franchise through their newest video game, Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite! Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite is currently still in the works and it will be release on the following game consoles worldwide in 2017: PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system, Xbox One®, and Windows PC.
As quoted by Executive Producer of Marvel Entertainment Mike Jones:
“For the last two decades, Marvel vs. Capcom has been one of the most celebrated franchises among fans,” To deliver on that legacy, we’ve worked closely with Capcom to create a game that honors the heritage of the series and combines Marvel’s unique brand of storytelling with Capcom’s world-class gameplay. We’re raising the bar with ‘Marvel Vs. Capcom: Infinite’ and are excited for players to get their hands on it next year.”
Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite will feature a wide selection of accessible single player modes and a brand new multiplayer content for both old and new fans. Furthermore, the game will also feature a visually spectacular cinematic Story Mode that will allow players to explore both universes as they fight against various opponents to survive against the dangerous new threat.
The goal of Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite is to showcase the mixture of iconic and fan favorite characters and levels from both Marvel and Capcom, which includes Captain Marvel and Iron Man from Marvel and Ryu and Mega Man X from Capcom. More news about other new characters, stages, modes and features will be announced in the next few months.
