The Defenders have assembled in new images for Entertainment Weekly’s cover. The Marvel Netflix actors have joined together for a photoshoot with EW and dressed in costume…sorta. We won’t get to see them quite yet in action together, but these images will do for now!
The EW cover was uniquely designed to mimic the newly announced The Defenders comic from Brian Michael Bendis and David Marquez. Check out the covers side by side in the tweet from Bill Rosemann below:

It’s great getting to see all four of The Defenders together. There hasn’t been an official synopsis released from Marvel nor Netflix yet, but Finn Jones (Danny Rand/Iron Fist) had this to say in the video with EW:
“The Iron Fist is like an energy force, and certain people, once they’re trained up in a certain way-they are able to channel it and harness it. And Danny Rand is one of them. So Danny Rand is… he’s the only know who really knows what’s going on. He knows how serious the situation really is. Danny Rand is the one who drives the group to get s*** done, really.”- Finn Jones

Marvel and Netflix have yet to release an official streaming availability date on The Defenders. We will continue to update on The Defenders as more information comes out.
