Comic Book got the exclusive that Aaron Sorkin is in talks with Marvel. Aaron Sorkin is a writer and producer who will be meeting with Marvel and also DC to bring his skills to both of these cinematic universes.
Aaron chatted with Comic Book on the red carpet at CinemaCon in Las Vegas. Here’s what he told them on the matter:
“I happen to have meetings coming up with both DC and Marvel. I have to go into these meetings and tell them as respectfully as I can that I’ve never read a comic book. It’s not that I don’t like them, it’s just that I’ve never been exposed to one. So, I’m hoping that somewhere in their library is a comic book character that I’m gonna love and I’m going to want to go back and start reading from the first issue on.”
It’s a no brainer for any writer, producer, and or director to want to get involved with a comic book based property as we’re currently in a renaissance of comic book adaptions for film and television. Aaron Sorkin has been involved in several loved films and T.V. shows such as: A Few Good Men, The West Wing, The Social Network, and Moneyball just to name a few.
