Happy 30th Episode guys! This episode is a discussion between our own Sark and Jess about the latest DC film news. The dramatic 3 part saga of Matt Reeves and the Batman solo film FINALLY comes to a close with the announcement that he is, in fact, locked in with Warner Bros. I don’t know about you guys, but I’m glad that this emotional rollercoaster has gone past the drops and corkscrews and has made it safely back to the station so we can all get off this ride and MOVE ON WITH OUR LIVES. Don’t get me wrong, the idea of a solo Batman movie is awesome and I’m glad that WB is already working to make it happen, but DON’T TOY WITH ME.
Anyway, we also talk about the prospect of a Nightwing movie, that got announced recently. Chris McKay, who just directed the extremely funny Lego Batman Movie, is attached to helm the Nightwing. This is quite an unexpected choice and it brings up many questions. Don’t worry though, the hosts cover their picks for casting, possible storylines, and what a live-action Nightwing movie could mean for the future of DCEU films.
