Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is making a return to Wondercon this weekend! While the Wondercon website still lists “series stars” fans are hopeful that most of the cast will be returning. The fact that most of the regular cast was at Wondercon 2016 should mean that there is a good chance for the same this year.
If you are an Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. fan, this is what you have to look forward to at Wondercon this Saturday April 1, in the order that they occur:
Autograph ticket drawing – 9:00am in Hall D. While they may start drawing tickets at 9am, fans are likely to line up at 7am or earlier. If you aren’t familiar with the process, fans line up to draw a raffle ticket out of a bag. If the ticket is marked, you win a wristband which gains you entry into the autograph signing later in the day. If you don’t win, you can get back at the end of the line, but depending on the size of the line you may not make it back to the front for another draw before tickets run out.
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. panel – 2:00 – 3:15pm in room 300AB. This is the main show panel, and per the Wondercon website it looks to be the standard Q&A panel and an early screening of the next episode “What If…” which airs the following Tuesday April 4th. If you plan on attending this panel, you should also plan on getting there early.
Autograph signing – Details have not been listed just yet, but we will be sure to update this article once we find out. The signing will likely take place just before or right after the panel. After the panel would make more sense, because if the signing is before the panel then people who go to the signing likely won’t get into the panel. All of the actors who are announced for the panel should be at the signing, so we are just waiting to hear the location and time of the signing.
VFX of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. panel – 7:15pm in room 300AB. Hosted by The Marvel Report and moderated by our own Shawn Richter, this panel features the visual effects from the show. Panelists include Mark Kolpack (Visual Effects Supervisor, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), Sabrina Arnold (Visual Effects Producer, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), Kevin Lingenfelser (Visual Effects Supervisor, FuseFX) and Daniel Mellitz (Comp Supervisor, CosaFX).
