We’ve come a long way from the very first Defenders teaser. From the first Comic-Con teaser trailer that promised they would “come as they were”, to the fantastic Easter Egg filled second teaser that gave us our first picture of The Defenders cast and what the show might look like, to the most recent resurrection teaser, it’s a crazy place to be and Marvel’s Netflix AKA Marvelflix continues to stand out. As we count down to the August 18th release date, we’ve got our first real trailer to tease and taunt us. August can literally not come soon enough.

The Defenders stars Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock, Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones, Mike Colter as Luke Cage, and Finn Jones as Danny Rand. They’re joined by Scott Young as Stick, Elodie Yung as Elektra Nachios, Elden Hansen as Foggy Nelson, Simone Missick as Misty Knight, Rosario Dawson as Claire Temple, Jessica Henwick as Colleen Wing and Sigourney Weaver as the mysterious villain Alexandra.
