New Spider-Man: Homecoming information is going to start coming daily. With Guardians of the Galaxy vol 2 at the top of the box office, this is going to be the summer of Marvel movies. Collider’s got us covered with new official photos of Spider-Man that’ll have us starting to salivate for the buffet that’s coming. Peter’s got a completely different vibe from Guardians and November’s Thor: Ragnarok however and there’s a lot riding on Homecoming. Actor Tom Holland stole the show in Captain America: Civil War. This’ll be his first solo film since coming home – so to speak-and this’ll determine his films going forward.
In addition to the photos of Peter and his pals, we’ve also got some behind the scenes photos of Micheal Keaton’s vulture and director Jon Watts at work. While there are multiple photos beginning to surface online, these are the only official released photos out there. We’ve collected them as well as all of the current posters – it’s probable that Spider-Man: Homecoming will be released in IMAX 3D like Guardians and they’ll get a unique set of posters all for themselves. Either way, homecoming is a testament to the many versatile stories that the cinematic universe can tell.
A young Peter Parker/Spider-Man (Tom Holland), who made his sensational debut in Captain America: Civil War, begins to navigate his newfound identity as the web-slinging super hero in Spider-Man: Homecoming. Thrilled by his experience with the Avengers, Peter returns home, where he lives with his Aunt May (Marisa Tomei), under the watchful eye of his new mentor Tony Stark (Robert Downey, Jr.). Peter tries to fall back into his normal daily routine – distracted by thoughts of proving himself to be more than just your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man – but when the Vulture (Michael Keaton) emerges as a new villain, everything that Peter holds most important will be threatened.
