SDCC 2017: Marvel’s Runaways Gets Premiere Date

Marvel’s  Runaways gets premiere date for the fall. The show will premiere on Hulu on November 21st of this year. Season one will be ten episodes. The news comes via Deadline.

Runaways stars Rhenzy Feliz, Lyrica Okano, Virginia Gardner, Ariela Barer, Gregg Sulkin, Allegra Acosta, Annie Wersching, Ryan Sands, Angel Parker, Ever Carradine, James Marsters, Kevin Weisman, Brigid Brannagh, James Yaegashi, Brittany Ishibashi, and Kip Pardue. The show is an adaption of the comic series Runaways. The comic series is about a group of diverse teens with powers who must band together to defeat a common enemy that so happens to be their parents. The original comic series came for the award winning team Brian K. Vaughan and Adrian Alphona.

It was also announced earlier this year that Rainbow Rowell will be writing a new comic series for Runaways. For more information regarding the new series click here.

Marvel’s Runaways is executive produced by series show runners writers Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage. Along side Marvel’s Head of Television, Jeph Loeb and Jim Chory. Lis Rowinski will produce as well.  Marvel’s Runaways is a co-production with ABC Signature Studios and Hulu.
