The Marvel Report’s Guide To San Diego Comic Con

Comic Con 2017 is going to be a convention for the ages, but it’s not one limited to people with badges.  If you are in or around San Diego there are multiple options for things to do outside of the convention that will be available all weekend.  If you’re looking to escape the convention center or have time to kill between panels, head over to the Marvel photoshoot and take a look at some fantastic Marvel costumes!

The Defenders Offsite Attraction

Sponsored by Netflix, The Defenders will be adding to it’s presence with an offsite attraction in the Hilton Gaslamp.  You’ll be able to visit the streets of New York City (as well as the world of “Bright” and “The Upside Down”). While we don’t know what it will entail, we’re very sure it’ll be awesome.

Also, Friday will see The Defenders suit up for a cosplay meetup in the Hilton Courtyard at 10:45 AM. How cool is that?

Legion Offsite Attraction

FX is bringing the world of David Haller to Comic Con! Legion will deliver “Sessions: The World of David Haller.” Using the Microsoft HoloLens fans will be able to transport themselves into the mind of the show’s star David Haller (Dan Stevens).  They will be able to interact with his world and test the boundaries of their own reality.  You can book your sessions today at legionsessions.com

The Gifted Offsite Attraction

Sentinel Services is coming for you!   The brand new show from the X-Men universe The Gifted, will be a major focus at SDCC.  They’ll be bringing the trolley wraps along with their mutant testing services.  Keep an eye out for the resistance as you look to discover – Are You Gifted?  You can read more about The Gifted‘s viral marketing here.

Marvel Cosplay Meetup

The West Coast Avengers will be hosting a Marvel Photoshoot at SDCC from 11:30 to 12:30. This event is unfortunately only available to passholders but you will be able to see plenty of Marvel cosplay in and around the gaslamp and the hotels.  Take plenty of pictures and be sure to share them with us here at the Marvel Report!
