Thwip! Not long ago we got word that director Jon Watts was currently in talks to return for Sony & Marvel Studios upcoming sequel to Spider-Man: Homecoming and it seems that he won’t be the only one returning. In an effort to “to keep many of the creative elements of Homecoming together”, THR is reporting that the screenwriting duo of Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers are currently in final negotiations to return for the sequel hitting theaters in 2019. The duo worked on the screenplay for the first film, which was a major hit for the studios, which led to them also bringing the duo on to work on the screenplays for Sony’s upcoming Jumanji and Marvel Studios Ant-Man And The Wasp.
