While the series has debuted to a mixed response, the first two episodes of Marvel’s Inhumans made their way to IMAX screens this week. If you’ve seen the episodes, there’s definitely some connections to ABC’s other Marvel series Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D., which initially introduced the species to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in their second season. With the twio series both airing on ABC and obviously being connected, even if just slightly, is there a chance we could see a crossover at some point? Speaking with CBR, showrunner Scott Buck addressed this possibility.
Sure, some time in the future, there may be some sort of [crossover] — as it is right now, we stand completely alone and separate from the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., but who knows what the future might bring?
We’ve still really yet to see where exactly Inumans is heading, so it might still be too soon to ask. But it would be crazy if ABC wasn’t at least thinking about this one and who doesn’t want to see Daisy Johnson meet Lockjaw? Let us know what you think about the possibility of an Inhumans/Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. crossover in the comments section below.
The first two episodes of Inhumans are currently showing in IMAX theaters across the globe before the series debuts on ABC Friday September 29th.
