While there’s still no release date for Marvel’s The Punisher dropping soon on Netflix, there’s a brand new trailer on the web giving a handheld perspective to the violence that Jon Bernthal plans to bring to Hell’s Kitchen and New York City. Featuring a collection of soldiers being hunted through the forest, the end of the clip portrays that Bernthal is “coming for you”. Although the “You” he’s talking about remains a mystery. The handheld camera work and up-close and personal killing style have got fans across the internet hyped to see Bernthal’s Punisher really deliver some punishment. Check out the clip below.

It comes head on the heels of some brand new promotional images that showcase everyone from Micro to Ben Barnes. This new clip seems to set up a much bigger conspiracy, one that will take Frank back to the war he seemingly left behind. Just who or what he’s fighting against remains to be seen, but something much bigger is drawing the heroes of Hell’s Kitchen back together. Even the synopsis hints at a bigger web that Frank is starting to uncover. Does it have a connection to Jessica Jones perhaps? Her backstory wasn’t touched on in The Defenders.
