Here’s some news that is sure to make Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. fans very happy. EW has revealed that after leaving the series at the end of season three, Nick Blood will be returning as Lance Hunter for Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.’s upcoming fifth season. Blood had initially left the series alongside Adrianne Palicki after their characters were disavowed. This was intended to lead into their own spin-off Marvel’s Most Wanted but ultimately ABC passed on the series.
Details are being kept under wraps regarding how long Blood will be reprising the role at the moment. Could we also see Bobbi Morse return as well? That one might be less likely with Palicki being busy over at Fox with The Orville but I’ve learned to never say never.
