If you are ready for Netflix’s The Punisher as well as for this year’s New York Comic-Con, you’ll enjoy this. The convention has revealed that the highly anticipated Marvel series is indeed going to New York Comic-Con next month, on Saturday, October 7.
The panel, which will be held at the Theater at Madison Square Garden, will kick off from 5:15 – 6:15 PM, with cast members and executive producers set to attend. Marvel TV president Jeph Loeb will be moderating that panel as he is bringing Agents of SHIELD to the convention that same day. This will mostly be when we finally learn the premiere date for the new Netflix series.
“Join Jon Bernthal and the cast of Netflix’s hotly-anticipated original series, Marvel’s The Punisher, for a must-see panel and exclusive first look at the upcoming season, launching globally on the streaming service later this year. From executive producer and showrunner Steve Lightfoot, and executive producers Jeph Loeb and Jim Chory, Marvel’s The Punisher follows Frank Castle (Jon Bernthal), a man who, after exacting revenge on those responsible for the death of his wife and children, uncovers a conspiracy that runs far deeper than New York’s criminal underworld. Jeph will moderate the can’t-miss Q&A. Visit the NYCC online program for more details. “
“After the murder of his family, Frank Castle is both haunted and hunted. In the criminal underworld, he’ll become known as The Punisher.”
Marvel’s The Punisher, starring Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle, Ben Barnes as Billy Russo, Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Micro, Jason R. Moore as Curtis Hoyle, Daniel Webber as Lewis Walcott, Paul Schulze as Rawlins, Jaime Ray Newman as Sarah Lieberman, Michael Nathanson as Sam Stein and Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, is slated to come out on Netflix sometime this fall.
