Earlier this year, fans saw Hugh Jackman’s final outing as Wolverine in the James Mangold directed Logan. The perfect ending for the character and arguably one of the best superhero films to date. There’s been plenty of discussion about who could fill the role post-Jackman, which is going to be a tough role to fill, it doesn’t actually seem like there is any rush to recast the character anytime soon.
However, if Fox does actually decide to bring Logan back to the big screen, we’ve definitely got one actor already interested in the role. While chatting with ComicBook.com after the Pacific Rim Uprising panel at New York Comic-Con, Scott Eastwood had the following to say when asked which superhero he’d like to suit up as on the big screen.
“Weapon X. I mean, Logan! You gotta give it to Wolverine! Wolverine, all day.”
Eastwood is likely going to be waiting awhile for that call though as it seems the studio is in no rush to use the character again in any of their upcoming films. Personally? I can’t see it. I’m sure there are plenty of great superhero roles out there for Eastwood. Wolverine? Nah. What do you think? Let us know in the comments section below.
