Today Marvel Studios held a massive photo shoot for the cast of Avengers: Infinity War. Mark Ruffalo — the consummate man of selfies that he is — took a video of the cast. The video features Evangeline Lilly, Michael Rooker, Samuel L. Jackson, Brie Larson and a dozen other members of Marvel’s cast and crew.
The most notable person to appear in the video is Vin Diesel, who plays an integral part in Guardians of the Galaxy as Groot. It’s rare for us to see Vin with the Marvel cast, since we usually see Groot as his digital self.
In the video, Vin grabs Mark and says “I sense there is day that’s going to come, when you’re going to see Groot and Hulk…” then Vin and Mark both growl and show their teeth, signifying some sort of gritty fight.

While Vin may have been talking about something that he wants to see in future Avengers films, it’s possible he was alluding to something he and Mark have already shot for Infinity War or are currently shooting for Avengers 4. Vin first mentioned wanting this team up back in January, perhaps he got his wish?
Seeing Hulk and Groot smash up bad guys together would be pretty fantastic! Actually Groot sort of did do a Hulk smash in the first Guardians film, on Ronan’s ship — perhaps we’ll get to see this move along with Hulk in Infinity War!
