If you thought today was going to be a slow news day, well then you thought wrong. Not only did we get some news for the Marvel Cinematic Universe on the big screen but now we’ve got some for it’s flagship television series as well. Earlier today Dove Cameron, who is best known for her roles on the Disney Channel (Liv & Maddie, Descendants), revealed that she will be a part of the upcoming fifth season of Marvel’s Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. The actress teased her role in an Instagram video which saw her taken away by Agent Coulson (Clark Gregg) before she could reveal any details about her mystery role. Coulson and the team find themselves stranded on a mysterious ship in outer space, and that’s just the beginning of the nightmare to come, when Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. returns for its highly anticipated fifth season with a special two-hour premiere, FRIDAY, DEC. 1 (8:00-10:01 p.m. EST), on The ABC Television Network, streaming and on demand.
