Last week we got our first look at Carol Danvers’ debut in the ever-growing Marvel Cinematic Universe through images from Entertainment Weekly, We got a tease of Captain Marvel towards the end of Avengers: Infinity War, but now we finally have the first official trailer for the Captain Marvel film which you can see below.
“Based on the Marvel comic character first appearing in 1968, the story follows Carol Danvers as she becomes one of the universe’s most powerful heroes when Earth is caught in the middle of a galactic war between two alien races. Set in the 1990s, “Captain Marvel” is an all-new adventure from a previously unseen period in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.”
Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck’s Captain Marvel, which stars Brie Larson as Carol Danvers, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Djimon Hounsou as Korath, Lee Pace as Ronan the Accuser, Clark Gregg as Phil Coulson, Jude Law as Walter Lawson a.k.a. Captain Mar-Vell, Gemma Chan as Minn-Erva, along with Ben Mendelsohn, Lashana Lynch, Algenis Perez Soto, Rune Temte, and McKenna Grace, opens in theaters March 8, 2019.
