Wilson Fisk AKA Kingpin is back for Season 3 of Daredevil, and he’s showing off a new look.
In the latest teaser released today we see Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio) donning the iconic white suit he wears in the comics.
In contrast, a bloodied Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) burns a white garment while donning his black Daredevil suit.
With Kingpin back and Matt abandoning his morals, an epic clash seems likely.
One of the more interesting villains in the Marvel Netflix universe, Fisk was largely sidelined in Season 2 while in prison, but had some key interactions with The Punisher and Matt Murdock himself. Last season of Daredevil also showed Fisk getting closer to discovering Daredevil’s true identity, though with Matt Murdock presumed dead it’s unclear what Fisk will be up to when the new season starts.
An official synopsis confirms that Fisk will re-emerge as the primary villain this season:
Missing for months, Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) reemerges a broken man, putting into question his future as both vigilante Daredevil and lawyer Matthew Murdock. But when his archenemy Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio) is released from prison, Matt must choose between hiding from the world or embracing his destiny as a hero.
Season 3 of Marvel’s Daredevil premieres on Netflix on October 19th, 2018.
